Heaven and Hell by Don Felder
An interesting item we have for sale is a “Heaven and Hell” galley proof signed by author Don Felder, formerly of The Eagles. We have the only two signed copies of this unedited version of his controversial book. He signed them in his home for us to raise money for music education.
The release date for this book was postponed from 2006 to this past April. Publishing companies were not interested in publishing a book that was at such risk of lawsuits from the other members of The Eagles. He was interviewed by Jim Farber of the New York Daily News and stated, “The more successful the band became, in my opinion, the more it became focused on money, the more of a business relationship it became and the less of a friendship,” he says. He wrote about his life on the road and his relationships with the other band members, “I wasn’t out to hang people’s heads for the whole community to see,” Felder insists. “That wasn’t the point of the book. The point was to tell my story.”
The book comes with a certificate of authenticity and the original publicity letter, signed by the publicist. Visit our store to purchase the galley proof for your own collection of rock history.
